How do you build an AI agent people actually trust?

AI agents are all the rage, with mixed results. But some early success stories are popping up... I recently spoke with LinkedIn VP of Engineering Prashanthi Padmanabhan about the making of their Hiring Assistant, an agent recruiters are using to optimize the applicant selection process.


Placing so much faith in AI is daunting. That's why balancing autonomy with transparency and human-in-the-loop checks is so critical to building trust, as Padmanabhan describes in the piece.


I think this is a good case to model if you are experimenting with AI agent development or leading a team looking into this area!
