For the DirectorPlus July 2025 edition, I synced with Ellen Brandenberger at Stack Overflow and learned how Stack Overflow is reinventing itself in the AI age.


She shared with me their strategies for quickly guiding the rollout of entirely new product lines. For her, the cross-functional team model has proven especially useful for quickly building and validating these untested AI products. She shared with me the ins and outs of guiding a division with this approach.
