I’m a fan of Bottomless coffee

Smart, automated coffee delivery triggered by a connected scale.

Use my referral link to Bottomless, and we’ll both get a free bag of coffee.

I drink coffee every morning. I prepare my whole beans the night before in my grinder, fill the water kettle, and look forward to pressing the plunger of my French press down. I can smell the aromas.

I’m also a big fan of automation. Things that just work seamlessly in the background. That I don’t have to touch. What can I say? I’m a creature of habit. My tech should know that by now.

So, this is my post where I unabashedly share my referral link to Bottomless. It’s coffee on-demand, delivered to your door automatically when your bag gets low, triggered by a connected scale. It works seamlessly, no joke.

I show it off to everyone who walks into my kitchen. Here’s me pouring my Bottomless coffee with my French press like a mid-00s hipster in my old Maine house:

Here’s the scale and where we keep it in our kitchen:

You can monitor your coffee consumption habits with nerdy statistics online. I love the heatmap — it reminds me of GitHub PRs:

You can plan in advance what types of bags and tastes you want, or just set it on autopilot.

My wife and I have subscribed to this service for 6+ years for our daily grind + French press setup, and I’m amazed by how people still don’t know about it.

If you’re a daily coffee drinker and you like grinding fresh whole beans and like experimenting with different coffees from independent roasteries, this is the coolest thing.

This post is not sponsored, I just want to help support a cool startup I admire — this is technology that just does what it does, well — I wish more tech was like Bottomless.

If you’re sold, use this link to get a free bag off your first order from the scale (which is sent free), and I’ll get a free bag, and everyone wins:

Answers to commonly asked questions:

How can I get coffee bags delivered to me on-demand?

Use Bottomless. It's a coffee subscription service that does just that.

Is Bottomless worth it?

Yes, I think so. I like not having to go to the grocery store to buy whole-bean bags anymore.

Is Bottomless a scam?

Not that I know of. I’ve used it for years and years consistently without issues, and the customer support is great.

How much does it cost?

There’s a subscription fee for the service, and bags are priced separately. The scale comes free and is easy to set up.

What geographies does it support?

I believe just the U.S., but I could be wrong.
